Does the diamond sparkle?
The better the CUT regardless of shape, the more brilliance and sparkle your diamond will have.

Color – the less color a diamond has the greater its value.

A completely colorless diamond have the greatest rating of D and are extremely rare and command the highest prices.

Carat refers to diamond weight.
It is important to purchase a properly cut diamond to insure carat weight is evenly distributed. A poorly cut diamond may hide much of the weight in the base consider the distance in millimeters across the top.

Clarity refers to the tiny natural imperfections called inclusions that appear in all but the rarest diamonds.
The more inclusions the diamond has the lower it’s clarity grade. Most inclusions are so small they can only be seen under magnification.
